Joshua Kissi
Based in New York City, Joshua Kissi is a Ghanaian-American creative entrepreneur specializing in photography and creative direction. Raised in the Bronx, Kissi grew up with an affinity for the arts and picked up a camera at the age of 17. Despite his lack of exposure to creative industries, Kiss’s fervent curiosity and determination led him to founding the popular men’s lifestyle publication, Street Etiquette, in 2008.
On the heels of Street Etiquette, Kiss partnered with Karen Okonkwo to launch TONL, a culturally diverse stock imagery company aiming to change the narrative of the industry. Through TONL, he’s dedicated to diversifying visual storytelling, as well as engaging with audiences through podcasts, online essays, and networking events.
Kissi has been featured as Inc Magazine’s “30 under 30” and was most recently included in Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People.
